Why YACY can't find words with accent?

Hello!

I need YACY to find words like “calendário” ou “pós” when I search for “calendario” ou “pos” and vice-versa, but it doesn’t find, why is that?

Searching for “calendario”, I want it to find “calendário”;
Searching for “calendário”, I want it to find “calendario”;
Searching for “pos”, I want it to find “pós”;
Searching for “pós”, I want it to find “pos”;

Ii’m not sure, but could synonyms be set for that? At least for some frequently used terms, maybe?

The major search engines do this. Or sometimes seem to.
