The sites that don’t require admin privileges ask for the admin password which isn’t the case if you connect to the site with IPv4. I’m using the latest release on a remote server. What can I do?
ok that is not consistent and it is obviously caused that by the “localhost get admin rights under certain conditions” code which depends completely on IPv4. Looks old-fashioned and obviously is so. Sorry.
However this is not a security risk as I understand. But it would mean that the search page is not accessible with IPv6-only?
I can search normally with IPv6 on my local YaCy client. It also works on the remote server after some attempts.
